Nashville, Tenn - 4 October 2011 - VSR Music/EMI Music Distribution's band Silverline recently grabbed their first No. 1 song at Rock radio with their hit "Broken Glass." The Minnesota-based group reached the top spot following their previous single, "Voices In The Night," which hit No. 2 also on the Rock charts. Their brand new single at radio, "Shine A Light," is climbing the Christian Rock chart and is currently at No. 9.
Committed to standing up for truth in our lost generation, Silverline is the quintessential Christian rock band with two hit albums under their belt, Voices In The Night (2010) and Start To Believe (2009). Continuing to tour across the U.S., they are currently writing their anticipated third release on VSR Music with Ben Kasica (formerly of Skillet).
In a time where music is so powerful, where music affects attitudes, alters thinking and influences lifestyles, Silverline offers what our nation desperately needs: truth. According to their biography, it is written that in a country that confuses love with tolerance, a voice is needed from the darkness. Silverline exists to be a part of that voice. With Ryan Edberg's passionate voice soaring with his thought-provoking lyrics, Silverline is also comprised of the talents from Steve Adams on guitar, C.C. Starnes on drums, and Nate Langert on bass.
With an unforgettable electrifying stage show, the band has performed and ministered to thousands in over 38 states. Silverline has performed with such major artists as Switchfoot, P.O.D., Thousand Foot Krutch, Newsboys, Hawk Nelson, Sanctus Real, among others.
No matter what, on and off the stage the members of Silverline desire to bring light to a dark world. Working hard and playing hard, they deliver a message with passion to today's generation; a generation who is in desperate need for the truth.
